Rewrite Your Story

Less anxiety. Better boundaries.
More room to create.

  • Anxiety Therapy

Feeling anxious can leave you feeling consistently overwhelmed and lost. You may find yourself forever searching for the "best" or "right" way to move forward, often paralyzing you in fear.

How therapy helps: We’ll identify the roots of the anxiety, calm the nervous system, and map clear next steps so confidence and steadiness return.

    In Person or Online.

  • Self Esteem Therapy

Low self-esteem can create a lack of motivation and fatigue from the critical inner voice that is at volume 10. You might feel like things are not worth doing or attempting to do.

How therapy helps: Using IFS-informed parts work and self-compassion practices, we’ll meet protective patterns and rebuild a grounded sense of worth and joy in daily life.

    In Person or Online.

  • Creative Process Coaching

When perfectionism, overwhelm, or feedback fears stall the work, we blend craft savvy with IFS-informed parts work.

What we’ll do: map blockers, run micro-experiments, and protect your practice—so your voice gets clearer and you spend more time in creative flow.

Hi, I’m Grace Carter

Location scouting with Bowie.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (OR) and a Multidisciplinary Artist. I help adults move through anxiety, relationship stress, self-worth challenges, and creative blocks—so you can feel steady, clear, and more like yourself.

I bring a blend of clinical training and 25 years experience in theatre, film and still image. As a performer, director, and creator, I learned how story, image, and the body carry emotion. As a therapist, I use that same sensitivity—grounded in trauma-informed care, IFS parts work, and EFT/attachment—to help you map patterns, settle your nervous system, and make choices aligned with joy and purpose.

My style: relational, warm, collaborative, and intuitive. We move at your pace, and track what’s changing. When helpful, we’ll add creative process tools—gentle somatic attention, metaphor, or brief writing—to open what talk alone cannot.

What brought me here: Therapy changed my life. A therapist’s steady presence helped me heal old wounds and rebuild trust in myself. That experience shapes how I show up—present, compassionate, and deeply respectful of your courage.
